Senior Accountant, US - Remote

What You’ll Do:

  • Work on the month-end close process as well as daily accounting operations as assigned by the management.
  • Book and review journal entries to the general and subsidiary ledgers to assure accuracy and compliance with the company’s and established accounting principles. 
  • Perform the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that Accounts Payables are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner
  • Complete monthly close procedures, ensuring accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and present them to the management  
  • Run and deliver monthly departmental reports  in Netsuite financial system and backup controls. 
  • Assist with consolidation of financial statements and preparation of interim, year-end, and comparative financial statements and reports 
  • Provide required supports for the interim and year-end financial audit and prepare schedules and documents for independent (third-party) auditors

Your Experience Includes:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience in private industry
  • Working with an ERP / Financial system

Bonus If You’ve:

  • Worked with Netsuite and/or Shopify
  • Worked in  distribution, manufacturing, and/or remote environment
  • Assisted with departmental and cost center reporting
  • Worked in a small to medium sized company, with high growth or turnaround company tenure

Work Location and Travel

This position can be successfully performed remotely anywhere in the US, or in our office in Los Angeles.
