I've been looking for a coat to replace an old peacoat that I had lots of issues with. The Andromeda Coat works so much better for my tastes and my needs.
With my old coat, I was constantly losing buttons. The Andromeda Coat has no buttons. There are three hidden snaps and a nice sash to keep it closed. I also like the faux fur collar, but more than that, I like that the faux fur portion is removable for when I'm going for a cleaner look. Lastly, I love the fact that the skirt portion of the coat flares out to accommodate fuller garments like skirts and petticoats.
It hasn't gotten quite cold enough to wear it here just yet, but I look forward to wearing it out very shortly.

The material feels very nice, thick and warm. It is a bit heavy, so beware or that if it matters to you. Size is fine, maybe just a bit big, but good enough to also have a sweater underneath. Seems like a quality product and I am happy with my purchase.

I like the coat very much. Since the material is not too thick and warm, I ordered one size larger so that I can wear a few layers underneath. In any case, order one size larger if you want to wear the coat in temperatures around 0 degrees Celsius and pack well. Thanks to the belt, the coat still looks very good and figure-hugging.
The only thing I have to complain about is the processing. Some seams were open. The cuffs were not sewn and there were loose threads hanging there. I would also recommend sewing the buttons on tighter yourself.
