Nice quality

"This is a really lovely vest. The velvet fabric is nice quality and the construction feels solid. If anything I may reinforce the button stitching just in case. I sized down to a Small becasue I have a small ribcage (28") and waist (27") and it fits perfectly. I may even wear this to the ted fair this season!"

Shame it's too small.

"Bought this to add more velvet to my collection. I'm 5'2" 160lbs. I usually wear XL and I bought an XL. For me this was a miss, which is a shame because it is cute. The fabric is pleasant enough, feels thick and sturdy. The buttons are a pain. When I did manage to button them, I then struggled to get it under my bust properly. If you have a bigger chest, be warned. It just feels SHORT. I'm not tall, but the shoulder straps don't seem long enough for the average person, and I didn't realize from the pictures how short the hem was before I bought it. It accents my belly more than covers it. Size up is my advice. I'm sending this one back."

"Cute vest with good velvet fabric that doesn’t shed, however the sizing is a little small on me, I’d recommend sizing up if you have a larger bust or larger ribcage like I do. I sew and was able to shift the buttons a couple inches over, fortunately."

"I tend to order tops that run smaller because sometimes even XS is too loose on me, but this one really is tight fitting. I have to breathe in to fasten the buttons. It's not uncomfortable though, I've been wearing this several days now"
