Flattering

"This skirt is am absolute staple piece. It looks great on and it's nice and long. The fabric feels heavy and comfortable, but I do worry about how it will hold up in the long term. It's definitely synthetic, so i expect some pilling eventually. It's probably too warm for hot weather, but it will be nice in the fall and winter. I usually wear a small in killstar's skirts, but I have a long torso, so I bought a medium. It's a little loose around the waist, so I should've gotten my usual size, but I'll make it work."

Plus Size Disappointment

"I am normally a 2X. I am 5'9" and weigh around 265 for reference. I ordered the 4x because I heard how small Killstar normally runs. However, this item arrived and was way too big. I like a tighter fit on the bodice/top and this was so loose and shapeless. The fabric was stretchy so I think ordering my regular size or even one down would be fine. I also thought the fabric would have more "hold" or stiffness to it since it claims to be high quality woven. It acted much more like a knitted polyester would. I also went by the measurement chart, checked my own measurements and I wasn't sure if it would fit since my waist is 55in and the 4x said up to 52 1/2" waist. I found this to be deeply untrue, since it was way too big. The metal on it seemed to be of good quality and I had no problem with the zipper. In my opinion it seems Killstar does not design for plus sizes, but instead just scales up the pattern and hopes it fits larger bodies and people won't complain. If you are plus size I wouldn't take the risk because they don't cover the shipping for returns and you never know what size is reliable on Killstar."

Awesome!

"I love this dress! The material is awesome quality. The cut and fit are perfect! I ordered an extra large (5’5” and 180 lbs) and was very happy with how it fit in my hip area especially. I usually order a large, but I am postpartum so I ordered a size up. I do think that a large would have fit, but the XL gives me a little more movement (and will continue to fit if I lose any bay weight)."
